Bridget Jones' Diary
Bridget Jones Diary is a film produced by Helen Fielding that is based on the novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. While entering the advice of friends to "ooze intelligence, circulate and introduce people with thoughtful detail" runs through Bridget's mind.
When inside Bridget's usual self embarrassment begins to show once again when she try's to act intelligent in front of a group of men only to be shut down and embarrassed when asked a question on a topic she has no idea of.
When finally out of the circle Bridget runs into Mark Darcy. Their meeting is kept brief and insulting to both parties. It is then which Perpetua asks to be introduced. The technique of a prediction scene is played where Bridget introduces her real feelings towards them both. This also lets the viewer know of her immature attitude.
The actual scene of introduction is then played and instead of Darcy being embarrassed at Bridget's introduction, Bridget is played on by Darcy's introduction of Bridget to Natasha.

When Mark and Bridget begin to kiss the camera takes different angles to show the length of the kiss and just how loving and compassionate it really is. He then wraps his coat around her, this is a sign of possession, security and assurance that he will look after her love her and provide for her.
Snowflakes falling is a technique used to represent softness and to show the time period, that twelve months have passed. It also resembles the coldness, but how warm it is when they are together. While she was running it was windy, however when they are together everything is still.
